The «Gramàtica del català antic» is out: the first complete description of medieval Catalan
Publicacions de la Universitat de València has published the «Gramàtica del català antic» (Grammar of Old Catalan): five volumes and nearly 5,000 pages that describe medieval Catalan as a whole for the first time. A reference work for anyone who reads or teaches our classics.

I have been selected for “Formem lectors competents: repensar la pràctica lectora a l'aula i al centre”, a micro-credential run by the UAB's Institute of Education Sciences with the Catalan Department of Education. There are only 25 places.

Stop giving away the Catalan C1: a pilot test and a manifesto
DocentsCAT is running a pilot test this school year to find out what level of Catalan pupils really have when they finish compulsory secondary school (ESO). And the Professors de Secundària (aspepc·sps) union is collecting signatures so that the C1 is no longer awarded automatically with the ESO certificate.

I'm taking the CDL's course on the new Catalan grammar
This school year I'll be taking «Nova gramàtica catalana per a filòlegs i per a no filòlegs», an online course run by the Col·legi de Doctors i Llicenciats (CDL) and taught by Núria Martín Comes. The first part runs from 5 October to 27 January.

Step by step: the Xarxa de Docents per la Llengua
Through the teachers' groups I belong to, I've received the poster of the Xarxa de Docents per la Llengua, a network that wants to bring together teachers who are worried about Catalan in schools. And the Assemblea Educativa de Catalunya has made a video to get more schools to join Treu la llengua.

Two teacher-led initiatives want Catalan to be the language of the classroom again: Treu la llengua, from the Assemblea Educativa de Catalunya, and the Repte per la llengua, by teacher Ester Vilà. As a Catalan teacher, I support them and I'm sharing them here so they reach more schools.

We painted the feminist classroom lilac (and our hands, too)
My students and I have painted the feminist classroom lilac. It is in the school basement and its walls were white and full of holes: we filled them, got the rollers out and, along the way, flowers, hearts and stars started appearing on the walls.

Invited to the opening of the UAB academic year
As a UAB mentor, I was invited to the opening ceremony of the 2026-2027 academic year, which the university is devoting to Catalan culture. It took place on 2 October at the Rectorate and opened the year for the whole Catalan university system.
