Yes, I can prepare you for both Catalan levels.

Yes. I can help you especially well because I have been (and still am) an examiner for the 3 official C1 exams in Catalonia.

Yes: the website has free level tests built from my real exams — A1, A2, B2 grammar, the C1 test in three difficulty levels (quick, medium and full) and two C2 tests. Closed questions are marked automatically, and you can send me your writing and I'll correct it myself.

Shipping within mainland Spain costs €6 per order, however long it takes and however much you order. It arrives in 2–5 working days and the address is asked for at checkout. We do not ship to the Balearic or Canary Islands, Ceuta or Melilla from the website: write to us first and we will sort it out.

Yes. If you let me know more than 24 hours in advance, we move it to another day and time at no cost. With less than 24 hours' notice the class must still be paid for: that time was already booked for you.

Three months' access to the virtual classroom with over 2,000 materials: theory, summaries, exercises with answers, solved official exams and dozens of writing models (letters, opinion pieces, news…). Ideal if you are self-taught; many students combine it with some one-to-one classes.

Yes. The site has the 99-exercise Catalan workbook and its answer key, free. You read them on the page itself by leaving your email; they are not downloadable, because the material is mine. You will find them at /materials, right below the level tests.

In the «Resources» section you will find the collection I use myself: dictionaries (DIEC, Alcover-Moll, synonyms), the IEC grammar and spelling rules, style criteria such as ésAdir, terminology, the Softcatalà spell checker, self-correcting online dictations, the university-entrance exams with their marking guides, and the university help desks. Every resource is grouped by topic, and every link works so you can look things up easily.

No. The full C1 and C2 course has over 2,000 materials — theory, summaries, solved official exams and writing models — and the free material is a small sample so you can practise without paying anything.

Yes: «La teoria de la síl·laba ® by Sara Marugan». It starts from the smallest unit of the word and looks inside it: every syllable has a nucleus, always a vowel, and around it there may be an onset and a coda. Once you know where each syllable begins and ends, you stop hesitating over everything that depends on it — where you can break a word, whether two vowels make a diphthong or a hiatus and, above all, where the accent goes, which is where most mistakes come from. It is not a list of rules to memorise, it is a system, and that is why four hours of class already make a difference.

You have two options with me: an online course using my own materials, or private online classes. All classes are online.

No. I teach the classes myself, I mark your writing myself, and the level test is scored against an answer key I set. The chat on this site is not AI either: it matches keywords and returns answers I wrote. There is a full explanation on the «Ús de la intel·ligència artificial» page, linked in the footer.

Yes. I give a one-hour talk on Ramon Llull based on my book, with slides and fifteen minutes of questions. I have already given it at Firagran, at Lluïsos de Gràcia and with Col·lectiu Minerva. There is no fee: within the Barcelonès county it costs you nothing, and outside it I ask you to cover travel for me and one companion. The full conditions are on the books page.

Yes. Classes run in small groups of up to four people, so the class stays a conversation and everyone gets to speak. If there are more than four of you, we run two groups.

No. Each person gets an email with their own joining link and enters with one click — no passwords, no new accounts. The invoice is issued to the company.
